Okay, so the theme of the contest is: slow songs from the 80s. You can pick one of the following 3 “genres.” I organized them by which songs I believe go together, so forgive me if they’re not “right.” You can enter the contest up to 3 times, once for each genre provided. Deadline is November 2nd.

Submission info:
Okay, first of all, please do not feel that you have to or can’t pick songs on this list- you can if you want, or you can choose a different one. You can enter 3 times, once for each category. What you do is: pick a song, a slow song from the 80s, and in any medium, express what it means to you or what it makes you think of when you hear it. It can be writing, it can be a photo, it can be an abstract piece, it can be a simple description, it can even just be colours. In the comments on you deviation, write:
-name of the song and link to a video of it, preferably a YouTube vid.
-genre you picked
-description of what you were going for in your piece and maybe why the song makes you feel that way
-contest info (just write “for a contest if you wish, but please include a link to me )

If you’re not sure what genre your song fits into, or if it fits at all, then you can either note me with a link and ask me, or you can just do it and put it in the genre you believe it belongs in- just as long as its from the 80s. Due date is November 1, by midnight Pacific Time.
